French Chateau Wedding Photography

Jordan and Sam travelled all the way over from the USA to Chateau De Barbirey, near Dijon, for their beautiful French Chateau wedding. It was a day full of sunshine, laughter, Aperol and the most incredible views across the Burgundy countryside.

They had a stunning outdoor ceremony by the lake, followed by drinks and canapés in the courtyard, then dinner inside the barn. Chateau de Barbirey is the most incredible setting for a destination wedding and just so beautiful for photography. The light and airy rooms inside the chateau make my job as a photographer so much easier and mean I can get lovely, dreamy images!

Jordan and her girls spent the morning in the chateau itself, with Sam and the guests gathering outside in the courtyard for drinks, before making their way down onto the lawn for the ceremony. After spending the afternoon relaxing and chatting in the shade of the trees they then enjoyed a typically French dinner, with Beef Borguignon and exquisite wines.

We ended the day as the sun set with a few golden hour portraits in the gardens, before they retired for puddings and relaxation to take in the Dijon atmosphere…
