Stephanie and Sean’s West Tower Wedding on Saturday was just the most AMAZING and epic day! The whole day was pure magic with gorgeous light, super-relaxed people and classic styling, but the most memorable moment HAD to be their first dance…. on the lawn… at sunset! What a scene!!!
I started the day with Stephanie at her parents’ house with her sisters as they got ready. Super hair stylist Duncan Fisher was on hand to make sure they all looked perfect, with Stephanie’s friend Charlotte working her make-up magic too. It was lovely and Stephanie’s dress and veil from Amelia’s Bridal were both exquisite! The boys were in black tie which looked so smart and complemented the classic styling by Rhapsody Floral Design perfectly.
They were married at St Peter’s church in Mawdesley and the sun came out just in time! Their ceremony was short and sweet with some beautiful readings by friends. After the ceremony guests made a confetti tunnel to send them on their way to West Tower in a Birkdale Classics car.
West Tower looked amazing!!! As one of their first few big weddings back after restrictions were slightly eased we were all super excited! Guests enjoyed basking in the sunshine eating Rainbow Treats ice creams and being entertained by Zanda Magic on the terrace. After a delicious meal we listened to some great speeches and the bride and groom cut their cake.
Then came the first dance time!!! Current restrictions don’t allow a dance floor… and with the sunset at West Tower looking so amazing they decided they would dance on the lawn! Jesus Martin was playing some amazing Sax alongside DJ Steve Mitchell… the atmosphere was buzzing. The bright red sunshine was glowing across the field and it just felt SO good to be back photographing a full size wedding.
What a day!!!!
