The Out Barn Wedding

The Out Barn at Clough Bottom, near Bashall Eaves in Clitheroe, has to be one of the most gorgeous and stylish wedding venues in Lancashire! That huge glass wall which wraps around one side of the venue is just a photographers dream!! Ellie and Darryl chose it as their wedding venue for their April wedding and it was an incredible day, full of laughter and fun.

I joined Ellie with her bridesmaids and family as she was getting ready, drinking fizz and having hair and make-up done. They all looked fab in their matching pyjamas and Gemma Marie did a great job of making the girls look and feel amazing.

Meanwhile, over at the Out Barn, Darryl was meeting with his groomsmen for a quick pint and to welcome their guests as they started to arrive. The room looked stunning, with drapes on the chairs and floral displays by Ellie’s Nanny Barbara… beautiful!!!

The Ceremony

Ellie and the girls soon arrived to finish getting ready and don their dresses in the new dressing room, which was a lovely little space and perfect for them to do their finishing touches. Then it was ceremony time! The ceremony was so lovely, very moving but short and sweet, just how the bride and groom wanted it!

After they exited down the aisle as Mr and Mrs there was a champagne reception with live music by Arthur Geldard which went down really well with all the guests. They all got to pull their own pints from the very, fun self service station outside and we took lots of photographs of both the couple and their families too, all super relaxed and natural which is just the way I like it!

For dinner they had a barbecue style selection of boards by Cheek & Tongue, which was so delicious, followed by speeches over dessert which was, again, lovely and relaxed! There were many giggles around all the tables, everyone had such a great time.

In the evening we grabbed a few more quick photos as the weather had dried up and the barn was looking fab with it’s mode lighting, before heading back inside for a first dance and some epic partying!!
