Natalie and Stephen have been waiting a long time to celebrate with all their family and friends with this wonderful wedding reception at The Clifton Arms in Lytham. They had a small, covid-safe ceremony and celebration last Spring with just close family present and postponed their big reception until last weekend. In that time their lives have changed a little as they recently welcomed gorgeous baby Teddy into the world.. so he was a big part of the day on Saturday!
I joined them as they got ready in one of the beautiful rooms at the Clifton arms with views out over the green and seafront. It was so lovely to see them both again as it’s now been two whole years since their pre-wedding shoot! Craziness! And obviously it was so, so lovely to meet Teddy who pretty much stole the show for the whole day.
After a chilled morning getting ready they walked in to the room as a family to greet all their guests, where they enjoyed drinks and canapés to the sound of the string quartet. We had some time on the lawn taking photographs and guests threw confetti on the red carpet, before we took a quick stroll across the green to the promenade. Once we returned to the hotel it was time for the wedding breakfast in the ballroom.
The speeches were great! Teddy sat peacefully on Natalie’s knee listening intently and Natalie even did a speech herself. After teas, coffees and petit fours it was then time for dancing… and dance they did! There were some serious shapes being thrown on that dance floor!
Thanks so much to the bride and groom for sticking with me throughout the ups and downs of wedding planning in a pandemic! I’m so glad I was able to join you on this long awaited big day!
Natalie and Stephen had some amazing suppliers to help their wedding reception look incredible and run smoothly…
