I had an absolute blast on Saturday with Laura and Matt for their wedding at The Fox at Roby Mill. I’ve been friends with Laura for years and she’s always been a super organised and fun-loving planner! She spent some time planning weddings and events herself so I knew she’d throw everything at her own day, and she did! There was live music, dancing and singing galore along with plenty (actually too much!) absolutely delicious food. Throw in a shed load of glitter and you have the most fun day with such a laid back, festival style.

I started the day with Laura and her bridesmaids and mum at home, with a quick nip to see Matt and his family just down the road too. Everyone was excited and couldn’t wait to get to church. The ceremony at St Luke’s in Orrell was beautiful and full of emotion and joy. We did a great confetti throw on their exit and then everyone returned inside for refreshments in the church hall.

Laura had booked a Mustang as a surprise for Matt so once they set off from church as husband and wife we took a little detour for some photos in the fields. They were great sports trekking into the field in their finery!

Once we arrived at The Fox their guests were well into the garden games and relaxing under the tipi canopy. The meal was incredible and we were entertained by speeches throughout which were hilarious! We were also treated to a surprise performance by the singing waiters, who Laura and Matt had absolutely no idea about! So funny!

After dessert everyone returned outside to enjoy the sunshine and join in with the incredible guitarist, Mark Frith. He got everyone singing, dancing on the tables and waving their arms in the air. I loved snapping away at everyone having the time of their lives! Just as everyone thought things were calming down Pat Mulligan then continued the party with the first dance and a banging dance floor…. what a party!!!

It was lovely to work alongside some amazing suppliers, including our mutual friend Charlene from Love Gets Sweeter Videography. I can’t wait to see her film!
