Here’s a quick preview of Amber and Jacob’s absolutely gorgeous marquee wedding in The Cotswolds. This day was one of the most relaxed and laid back I’ve ever been to and it was just all round fabulous!!!
They were married in Hailes church which is such a pretty and tiny little place with so much history! The drawings on the walls inside the church are said to be some of the oldest in the country apparently! The ceremony was taken by a family friend and was just lovely, with lots of personal moments. I loved the way the wedding party were seated up front near the couple and also the way the bride and groom spoke their vows simultaneously, so unique!
After they were announced as husband and wife and we’d done a great confetti throw, we crossed the lane to have some photos in Hailes Abbey. This was such a beautiful spot for some slightly more formal photos and a couple of the bride and groom too!
We then walked across the field, along the cotswolds path, and up to the marquee which was decorated amazingly!! There were hay bales, gorgeous greenery, woolly blankets, fairy lights, the most amazing buffet and also Amber and Jacob’s blue VW Van, Oscar! Jacob had built a fantastic bar and the couple also had hand painted chairs facing all their guests.
After some hilarious and heartfelt speeches they then danced the night away to Jacob’s mum’s band, who were fab!! It was such a great atmosphere!!
Here’s some of my favourites to keep you going 🙂
What an amazing day! We survived the rain and had a blast!
Thank you Amber and Jacob 🙂
