On Saturday I had the pleasure of joining Abigail and Scott for their marquee wedding at home. They were married at St Andrew’s church in Longton and then had their wedding reception at her parent’s home, near Leyland. It was all absolutely stunning!
I started early to capture Abigail and her family and bridesmaids as they got ready, as the final touches were being made to get the marquee and gardens wedding ready. Amore events did an amazing job of all the styling and it looked superb!!
The ceremony was wonderful and teen by the vicar who was a family friend. Current restrictions mean we can’t sing hymns so instead the hymn music was played and the congregation were treated to a slideshow of photos. This was a lovely touch and kept everyone well entertained!
After the ceremony guests headed over to the family home and enjoyed drinks on the lawn before entering the marquee to find their seats. We took a few couple portraits with Abi and Scott’s adorable dog, Daisy, (and their little growing bump!) and then joined everyone inside. We escaped the downpours well and made the most of the few patches of sunshine!
The evening reception was lively with some wonderfully genuine and funny speeches and a little singing and dancing too with entertainment from the DJ and band. It was great fun!!
