A Hyde Bank Farm wedding

On Easter Saturday Katie and James had the most beautiful Hyde Bank Farm Wedding in the sunshine! This is the first time I’ve been to this venue and it was incredible! Such a fun day and we were blessed with some gorgeous and warm sunshine so were super lucky.

I joined Katie at home as her and her bridesmaids and family got ready amongst the fun of the page boys and also Albus the cat. They had hair and make-up done by Jodie Smith and all looked fabulous. Meanwhile, over at Hyde Bank Farm, James and the boys were gathering for a pint and greeting their guests ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony

The ceremony space in the old barn is super pretty and had been decorated with stunning drapes and florals by Classy Blooms. It was a lovely ceremony with a reading by Katie’s brother, Allen, and lots of giggles too. I loved their happy faces as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife… Katie has the hugest most infective smile!

After an epic confetti throw, as they exited the ceremony room, we then wandered around to the courtyard for drinks and photos. This gorgeous venue has so many pretty spots for photos, we were spoilt for choice and lucky to have such amazing, twinkly light to give the photos such a lovely glow!

The wedding breakfast

After some family photos and time for the guests to chill we went inside for the wedding breakfast in the new barn… it was stunning and so light with that big glass wall as a backdrop!

The after dinner speeches were particularly moving with Katie’s grandad leaving everyone in tears with his amazing, heartfelt speech and the groomsmen provoking lots of laughs! Then followed some time to chill again where we took the two of them for a few quick photos in the daffodils whilst the sun was low, followed by a cake cut and first dance.

It was a really fun day… Katie and James’ family and friends were a great laugh and kept me and my second shooter, Jenn, entertained all day. Here’s a quick preview..
