This Yurt wedding at The Red Pump Inn near Clitheroe was the BEST fun!! Ciara and Rob were finally married after postponing due to the pandemic and they certainly celebrated in style! Ciara is Irish and so lots of her family came over from Ireland to celebrate with them… it was a day full of fun and laughter and bucket loads of rain too… it literally didn’t stop ALL day but it certainly didn’t dampen spirits.

Ciara’s mum, Fran, and step dad, Jonathan, run the amazing Red Pump Inn in the Ribble Valley, and so what better place to hold this family wedding than right at home. Jonathan and his team of friends had hand built the Yurt especially and it looked absolutely beautiful! At the top of the garden, along a winding path sits this spectacular structure… and behind the little wooden door is the perfect setting for a rustic, relaxed wedding. The decor was absolutely beautiful, with lots of greenery, some super pretty table settings and the hanging Eddison bulbs at the centre of the room.

I started the morning with Ciara in the Inn as she was getting ready with her Mum, bridesmaid and man of honour! They had such a giggle whilst Christa from The Loft Hair Salon and Nicola Bird (For Sonara Parker) worked their magic on hair and make-up. Ciara’s dress by Catherine Deane was SO stunning… and it was perfectly complimented by her natural bouquet by The Flower Shop Clitheroe. Rob looked so smart in his Kilt too… with a thistle button hole. I just loved the whole look these guys created, it was perfect!

They were married at All Hallows Church in Mitton, in a relaxed ceremony with some of the best organ music I’ve heard at a wedding… the hymns were great fun! And the page boys and flower girl in their tartan were super cute throughout.

After a confetti tunnel exit the rain started to come down heavy so we made a dart back to The Red Pump where a champagne reception was waiting. With a few family photos taken and a few drinks consumed guests started to make their way up the garden to the Yurt, where a delicious wedding breakfast buffet was served. As darkness fell there were speeches, toasts, cake and dancing galore! The band, The Indianas, filled that dance floor to bursting and had everyone jigging all night…. They had the best time!!!

Thank you so much To Ciara and Rob for choosing me to photograph this glorious day, and to their family for welcoming me so warmly! Here’s a little (well, pretty big) preview to keep you all going…
