Emma and Mike’s Rivington Hall Barn Wedding on Friday was an absolute joy to witness! Everyone had so much fun and the barn was buzzing with excitement!
Emma got ready at her family home with her mum and dad, two sisters and Mike’s mum too. Her stunning dress, from Emma Louise Bridal, was hanging so beautifully in the window and the room where they got ready was so full of light! It was great to work alongside Jodie Smith on hair and make-up who, as always, did the best job of making the girls look perfect… not that they needed much help!
Rivington Barn looked absolutely magnificent once again, with gorgeous florals by Lancashire Floristry and all their drapes and lighting…. such a fairytale look for a wedding. Mike was waiting nervously for his bride and the moment she entered with her dad you could hear that she took everyone’s breath away! The ceremony was so lovely and quite emotional for a few too.
Once they were officially husband and wife they lead everyone out to the atrium where we sheltered from the rain and they had seated drinks and nibbles… and some big hugs from grandparents! A few quick photos under the shelter of the barn’s umbrellas and the guests were all seated inside and ready to welcome the new Mr and Mrs for their wedding breakfast, speeches and a cake cut.
What a first dance!!! I love the confetti cannon first dance at Rivington… it looks amazing and really makes such a great moment for everyone. It was a great way to finish the day with a bang!
Thanks so much for having me Emma and Mike! I had the best time and loved spending the day with your family…
