A Hobbit Hill Wedding

This totally incredible Hobbit Hill wedding belongs to Lucy and Charles and it was an absolute blast!!! You know when you’re having such a good time that you feel goosebumps up and down your arms? It was one of those days.

I photographed Lucy’s sister and brother in law’s wedding, Emma and Mike, a few years ago, so was welcomed again with hugs and hello’s from the whole family as soon as I set foot inside Hobbit Hill. These guys really know how to party and, as expected, the whole day was full of giggles. It was also super emotional and just so lovely to see.

An outdoor ceremony in the woods

They had their ceremony outdoors in the woods which was just so dreamy and is the perfect spot to get married. They then had drinks and canapés overlooking the incredible Ribble Valley views whilst we took a few moments out to get some family photos and a few portraits of the bride and groom.

Lucy and Charlie had booked Danny Finn, who sang during dinner and then also really got the party going afterwards too, with everyone dancing on their chairs and some great dance floor action before desserts had even been cleared. It was so much fun!
