Chris and Kate’s Stanley House Wedding was beautiful from start to finish! I met Kate at her mums house where she and the girls were having hair and make-up (by Emma Williams) in the amazingly light and airy extension… it was a dream in terms of photography! It was so lovely to be in amongst their excitement and giggles.. in particular the gift opening was super fun to photograph. Kate’s whole look was pure elegance and the reaction on her bridesmaids faces as they saw her in her Pronovias dress for the first time was unforgettable. Whilst I was hanging out there my brilliant second shooter, Charlotte, was with Chris and the boys where they were equally as excited and also exchanging gifts!
The ceremony at Newchurch in Culceth was delightful and romantic and was followed by a longer than ever confetti tunnel leading Chris and Kate to the lychgate. Guests were handed little goody bags with snacks to keep them going on the journey across to Stanley House Hotel, which was a great idea!!
We arrived at Stanley House Hotel to sunshine so drinks and canapes were served outside whilst we took Chris and Kate for a few quick photos on their own. The grounds at Stanley House are gorgeous and I love the footpaths around there amongst the greenery and fab views.
Once we’d taken a few family photos we were then invited in for the wedding breakfast which took place upstairs in that gorgeous room with mirrored ceiling and chandeliers. Kate had done a great job with her vision of how she wanted the wedding to look… the flowers by The Flower Shop and candles transformed the room and gave it such a cosy atmosphere.
After dinner the speeches were brilliant! These two are childhood sweethearts so there were plenty of stories to tell and so much laughter amongst their guests!
It was great to see Big Bear Video and work alongside them… always a pleasure.
Here’s how it all happened…
