This Rivington Barn Wedding in blush pink belongs to Jay and David and was one of the most long awaited days I’ve been to! They were about a week away from getting married when lockdown hit in spring 2020 and so were sadly forced to postpone at the last minute… several date changes later and last week they finally tied the knot! It was SO worth the wait and meant that they could do everything they’d dreamed of with all their friends and family present.
This was the first time I’ve been in the dressing room at Rivington Hall Barn and it is stunning! It’s been renovated absolutely perfectly with such subtle colours and designs…. really elegant and it was a perfect backdrop for Jay and her girls to get ready. With make-up by Frankie, Bouquets by The Flower Hall and Jay’s beautiful dress from Dreamcatcher bridal, everything was looking gorgeous.
Jay and David’s three little girls stole the show at several points throughout the day with many a twirl… even down the aisle which was a surprise for everyone including the bride and groom. They were amazing and so, so funny.
The Flower Hall had decorated the ceremony room with some amazing pedestals… I loved the mix of dried pampas and real flowers in the elegant colour scheme. So effective!
The couple were married under the barn’s hanging blossoms and enjoyed canapés and mingling on the terrace afterwards. Once we’d had a little wander for some portraits of the bride and groom and taken a few group photos we then returned inside for a delicious wedding breakfast (as always at Rivington) followed by speeches, cake (by Mrs Lyon’s) and dancing.
